    Steven Yeschek, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon at Cortese Foot & Ankle Clinic serving Bloomington, IL, Normal, IL, Pontiac IL, and Clinton, IL. He also serves on staff at OSF St. Joseph and John Warner hospitals. Dr. Yeschek received his Bachelor of Science from Loyola University Chicago in Illinois and his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his residencies in podiatric medicine and surgery at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon, Illinois, and served as chief resident at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

    Passionate about research in his field, Dr. Yeschek was a research assistant at Advanced Neurodiagnostics in Deerfield, Illinois during undergrad, and worked with students in the CLEAR Research Program in Chicago during medical school. He’s been published in Journal of Gerontology and was involved in the annual research week at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center.

    Dr. Yeschek has extensive leadership experience, attending Catalyst™ leadership by LeaderShape®, sitting on the Loyola University Chicago student judicial board, and at The United States Marine Corps Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia.

    He is the co-founder and national liaison of ANKLE (A Newly Acquired Knowledge of the Lower Extremity), and was the national residency liaison of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.

    Dr. Yeschek is certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is board-qualified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He’s a member of the Illinois Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association, and American Society of Podiatric Surgeons. Dr. Yeschek also volunteers his time and expertise to a free children’s clinic for the underserved population.
